Summary

RunSignal is designed to process workout and recovery information on your Apple devices. The developer does not operate an application account system or health-data server and does not sell or use health information for advertising.

Information processed on your devices

With your permission, RunSignal may access workout routes, distance, pace, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep, cadence, running power, running dynamics, steps, and related workout information through Apple Health and device sensors. RunSignal uses these inputs to record runs, display live metrics, calculate fitness and training insights, and write completed workouts to Apple Health.

This information is stored in the app’s local database and protected local files. Derived analytics are computed locally by the app’s embedded analytics engine.

On-device coaching

On supported Apple devices, RunSignal may use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework to compose a short coaching explanation from a local training snapshot. On other devices, the app uses deterministic local text. RunSignal does not send health data or coaching prompts to an external artificial-intelligence service.

Information collected by the developer

The current app does not transmit workout, health, precise location, device identifier, usage analytics, advertising data, or diagnostic data to the developer or third parties. If you voluntarily contact support, the developer receives the contact information and message you provide and uses it only to respond and maintain support records.

Purchases

Lifetime Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RunSignal checks Apple-signed transaction entitlements on the device. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Backup and transfer

RunSignal can create a password-encrypted backup containing workout records, settings, raw samples, achievements, and local analytics. A backup leaves the app only when you explicitly export it. You choose where it is stored or shared. The developer cannot access the backup or recover its password.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you delete individual runs or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its local database and sidecar files, subject to device backup behavior controlled by Apple. Workouts already written to Apple Health remain under your control in the Health app. Exported backup files remain wherever you chose to save them.

You can revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in the Health app or system Settings. You can change location permission in system Settings.

Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion using the contact above.

Sharing

The developer does not sell personal information and does not share health or fitness information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. Information may be disclosed only if required by applicable law or necessary to protect legal rights.

Children

RunSignal is a general fitness product and is not directed to children under the minimum age required to independently consent in their jurisdiction. The app does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through an application server.

Security

RunSignal uses Apple platform protections for local app data and file protection for analytics files. Exported backups use password-based encryption. No security measure is perfect; keep devices and backup passwords secure.

Health disclaimer

RunSignal provides fitness information and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or guaranteed injury or performance predictions. Consult an appropriate professional for medical concerns and stop exercising if you feel unwell.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. If a future version begins transmitting data, its in-app disclosure and App Store privacy answers will be updated before that version is released.
